Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026.
Who we are
This site is run by Ben Basha. Contact: support@birthcontroldates.com. Please don't send health details.
Consumer health data we collect, and why
- Website requests. When you load a page, our hosting provider handles your IP address, the page you request, the time and your browser details. A page name can show which birth control tool you used. Our hosting provider receives this on our behalf, to deliver the page you asked for and to keep the site secure. We do not log or keep it.
- Emails you send us. We receive anything you choose to write, including health details if you include them (we ask you not to). We use it only to reply and to fix errors. Emails are delivered to our Gmail mailbox; they are kept there. The copy stored by AWS is deleted after 90 days.
The dates and products you enter into the tools, and any reminders you save, never leave your device, unless you export a calendar file yourself; a synced calendar stores those events with your calendar provider. We do not collect them.
Where it comes from
From you: the page requests your browser makes and the emails you send.
Sharing
We do not sell consumer health data. We don't share it with anyone except as described here: Amazon Web Services handles it on our behalf (hosting, content delivery, and receiving and forwarding email in its Europe (Ireland) region), and if you email us, the message is delivered to our Gmail mailbox, provided by Google.
Your rights and how to use them
- You can ask us to confirm whether we collect or share your consumer health data, and to access it, including the list of companies that receive it (Amazon Web Services and Google, as described above).
- You can withdraw your consent.
- You can ask us to delete your consumer health data.
To make a request, email support@birthcontroldates.com with the subject "Health data request". Please don't send health details. We may ask you to confirm the request, for example by replying from the same address. No account is required. Up to 2 requests a year are free.
We answer within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time, we may extend this by 45 more days, a single time, and we will tell you why within the first 45 days.
If we decline your request, you can appeal: reply to our decision with the word "Appeal", and we will answer in writing. If we deny your appeal, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
